Nature Connections is owned and run by Forest School practitioner and mum of three Britta Lippiatt. Britta has a passion for nature, working with people and creating community and has offered Forest School sessions since early 2014.
Britta's love of the countryside has a led her to a FdSc in Conservation and Countryside Management. She has worked in the lovely Stroud countryside in a number of positions with Natural England and the National Trust, including as Warden in the Gloucestershire National Nature Reserves Team and as Engagement Ranger at Woodchester Park.
In 2014, after completing her Forest School certification, Britta initiated the formation of Little Owls, which was one of the county's first outdoor parent and toddler groups. In May 2016, Britta decided to do Forest School professionally and set up Nature Connections which has grown ever since, creating opportunities for people to come together to play, learn and be creative, all in and with nature.
Britta has a current DBS check, Outdoor and Paediatric First Aid qualifications and training in safeguarding, risk assessment and bushcraft.
Together with Carrie Roet from All Seasons Forest School, Britta has set up Into Nature CIC, a social enterprise that aims to improve people's wellbeing through nature-based activities. To find out more, click here.
